Becoming

I am joining this group now, but actually received my certification for the Meditation Masterclass in the spring of 2025. I requested access to the content again to use as a refresher (when I took the course, it was in the old system). I was diagnosed with several chronic conditions in 2020. I had to stop working as a result. I had to grieve the person I was to allow space to become the person I am meant to be. I chose to take the meditation masterclass to complement my Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Qigong Teacher certification. I will soon be obtaining my Level 3 Reiki, allowing me to teach. I have had my levels 1 and 2 since the early 1990s. I recently began teaching Qigong to a group of people diagnosed with cancer. I teach at an organization called Wellspring.ca , a Canada-wide network of charities, that offers programs and services, at no charge and without referral, to anyone, with any type of cancer, at any stage in their journey. Although, I myself was never diagnosed with cancer, ten years ago I watched one of my sisters as she went from diagnosis, to treatment and survival of leukaemia following a bone marrow transplant. She recently has been diagnosed with a different cancer, this one a chronic one. Qigong and meditation were both big parts of me letting go and grieving. They allowed me to sit with myself and listen to who I really was. I look forward to sharing my journey and hearing about yours.
